So I am going to say, I am usually not one for mindless killing in a game. I don't see the point of just going around killing everyone you can that's never been fun to me. So when I heard of Assassin's Creed I was like awww here we go a mindless killing game focused on learning how to be an assassin. So I never picked it up.
Then I was really bored at a friends house and they were taking care of some things before we could actually hang out, and I decided to pop it in and play from the beginning.
It starts out really slow, giving you a tutorial on the mechanics of the game, as you move about your white hooded character learning his controls.
Then you actually delve into the actual story line, you learn your not just playing an assassin, you are a person in our near future who is a distant relative of the assassin himself and is diving into his ancestors memories with a machine!!!
My interest was then peaked! This wasn't just a game about learning how to kill people silently and efficiently. It was a game with background and mystery.
So after that I couldn't put it down, I went out and bought the game, and not too soon cause shortly after I finished it, Assassin's Creed II came out!
So I am going to go over a review of the titles and maybe some of the side stories that have been done as well.
So come with me as first we travel to the Holly Land during the crusades and learn of Altair and the Order of the Assassin.
